GMC Sierra Grilles by Year: 1500, 2500HD and 3500HD (1994–2026)
GMC has redesigned the Sierra front end many times since the '90s, and a grille made for one generation won't fit another. Before you shop for a custom grille, confirm your model (1500, 2500HD or 3500HD) and your generation.
This guide covers every Sierra generation Overkill Fab builds for. It shows what's available for each and what to check before you order.
Why Sierra owners choose a grille insert
Most Overkill Fab GMC grilles are inserts. They install in your existing factory grille shell instead of replacing the whole assembly. You keep the OEM shell that already fits your truck and change the part that defines its look.
Every grille is made to order in our Michigan shop from 304 stainless steel, TIG welded and powder coated. Most come with a limited lifetime warranty. Depending on the design, you can choose wire mesh or laser-cut mesh, a studded or smooth frame, multi-layer styling, and integrated LED lighting.

Before you order
- Confirm your model and generation. A 1500 grille won't fit a 2500HD or 3500HD, and a grille for one generation won't fit another.
- Check your trim and front-end equipment. Some designs depend on whether your truck has a front emblem, camera or sensors.
- Review the installation. Some inserts require cutting the factory grille, so read the product page first.
- Choose your finish and options. Pick the mesh style, frame and lighting. Custom colors can add time.
- Plan for the build time. Most GMC grilles take 1–3 weeks, depending on the design.
Not sure which grille fits? Send us your year, model and trim, and we'll help you choose before you order.
