Custom grille servicable LED boxes

Overkill Fab grilles with LED backglow are designed with serviceability in mind, making repairs straightforward should an LED strip fail. Unlike sealed units where the entire grille might need replacement, the LED components in these grilles are accessible and can be repaired or replaced by the user.
Here is a general description of the repair process:
The LED components in an Overkill Fab grille are designed to be user-serviceable. If an LED strip or the power source goes bad, you won't need to replace the entire grille.
  1. Access the Lighting Channel: The LEDs are typically housed within a channel or frame that is securely mounted to the back of the main grille structure. This channel is accessible from the rear of the grille once it is removed from the vehicle.
  2. Remove the Components: The LED strips are usually held in place with accessible mounting hardware, clips, or adhesive that allows for removal without specialized tools. The wiring is connected via easily manageable harnesses.
  3. Replace the Damaged Part: The damaged LED strip can be unplugged and unmounted. A replacement strip, available directly from Overkill Fab as a spare part, is then installed in its place.
  4. Reconnect and Test: Reconnect the new strip to the wiring harness, secure the components, and reinstall the grille on the vehicle.
This design ensures that your custom backglow remains a long-lasting feature of your vehicle with minimal hassle or cost for maintenance.
